As we raise a glass and celebrate the 75-year legacy of our school, we are excited about all of the dazzling Auction items that you may bid on in support of Holy Child, including a very meaningful opportunity to Raise Your Paddle.

The 2024 Raise Your Paddle builds upon our school’s caring and nurturing approach to education. We invite you to support the development of Holy Child’s Wellbeing Program.

A rising and urgent need for adolescent mental health and wellbeing support across our nation has led Holy Child School at Rosemont to identify opportunities to enhance the student experience in support of our children’s development. We continually seek to understand and address what the latest research is telling us about adolescent mental, emotional, and spiritual health, especially as our children grow up in a digitally saturated world. Rooted in the values of our foundress Cornelia Connelly’s educational philosophy, our Wellbeing Program strives to educate the whole child by supplementing our academic program with resources, lessons, and experiences that support each child’s mind, body, spirit, and heart. Your support of Raise Your Paddle this year is essential to providing the tools, training, and resources necessary for the Wellbeing Program and will directly benefit our entire student body.

In his first year as Head of School, Brian McBride has consistently shown his engagement with and care for our children. Emphasizing the importance of the Wellbeing Program, Brian shares, “As we develop children into engaged learners and eager leaders who are ready for the next steps in their education, I recognize that wellness is a central part of their success and wellbeing. It is a worthy use of our time and resources to bolster the connections between mind, body, spirit, and heart to support our students' wellness and wellbeing.”
